What is GraceWins CoL Events?
Ashley and Trisha came up with this fun idea of connecting and spending time together in the beautiful outdoors. So we’re going to organize something or the other about every month or so to enjoy together, outdoors, weather permitting. If Ashley is involved you can be sure there’ll be a creative element to the adventure. As simple and fun as that.

What: Our first ‘GraceWins Adventure’! A ‘Paint by Beautiful Lake Ontario’ picnic. Beautiful spot by the lake. Easels. Canvasses. Brushes. Paints. Snacks. Sun. Sky. Tree. Lake. A small group guided by incredible paint host, Shawna Lee. For Whom: Anybody (18+) that struggles with a mental health or addictions challenge who would like to spend a good time outdoors in the company of others that similarly struggle and understand. No painting experience required. When: Thursday, August 25, 2022. 11:00 am – 3:00 pm. Where: The lakefront at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences, 700 Gordon Street, Whitby Fee: None What else: Paint supplies will be provided. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Transportation to and from the picnic within Durham is available for those that need it – please let us know.
